This effort will help promote the use and production of sustainable clothing which will leave a lasting impact on our future. Our new Sustainable Collection is perfect for those who want to look good in stylish swim trunks while benefiting the environment, which will be available early May.
Celebrating Earth Day
The first official Earth Day took place on April 22nd, 1970, with rallies being held in large cities throughout the United States. Today, Earth Day is celebrated yearly, and popular activities include cleaning up beaches, donating to nonprofit organizations, or teaching young children the importance of recycling. It’s a day for people all around the globe to be conscious of prevalent environmental issues and helps create awareness for a better future. To celebrate Earth Day, Le Club is demonstrating its commitment to the environment with our Sustainable Collection Launch.
Sustainable Clothing for a Better Future
What Is Sustainable Clothing?
Sustainable clothing is designed using sustainable materials such as hemp, organic cotton, and Pima cotton. Using these natural fabrics creates fewer negative consequences for the environment as opposed to traditional clothing production. The main purpose of producing sustainable clothing is to provide stylish and comfortable clothing without sacrificing the environment in doing so.
Benefits Of Purchasing Sustainable Clothing
As we approach Earth Day, it’s important to be mindful of the environment and how to protect it. One way in which we can help the cause is by purchasing sustainable clothing instead of regularly produced clothing. Some beneficial practices of sustainable clothing include:
- Uses less water
- Uses renewable energy to manufacture goods
- Reduces water, air, and other pollutants
- Uses recycled or Eco-friendly fabrics
- Promotes fair labor practices
By purchasing sustainable clothing you can feel good while looking good knowing that you are participating in the effort to help the planet.
